Experience the thrill of genuine achievement

Learning solutions from LEGO Education cover areas of the science and technology curriculum in a way that makes learning an adventure. They are designed to actively engage pupils in scientific inquiry and provide them with technological Know-how, by giving them first hand experience and an understanding of constructions, mechanisms, energy and Programming techniques.
In this way they cover scientific and technological principles such as forces and motion materials and components, structures, energy. and systems and control.
For each of our sets we offer a range of lesson plans and teaching support materials. These are either included in the sets or can be purchased separately.

Learning by Making

Hands-on learning techniques empower pupils to enter a dynamic learning process. Instead of simply memorizing the achievements of others they experience the thrill of genuine achievement.
As pupils actively construct things in the physical world, they build knowledge and understanding in their minds. We call this learning by making.

Problem Solving

By presenting them with a problem or a challenge, pupils are encouraged to use their imagination, try out their problem-solving skills and cooperate with others - all vital skills for their future success
All LEGO Education products are based on enhancing these skills in a way that is relevant to core curriculum areas.
As well as providing solutions for science and technology, we also offer large play themes and construction sets for kindergartens or early years' classrooms. Ask your dealer for a copy of our Early Learning brochure.

Managing hands-on in the classroom
One of the most basic challenges for teachers is harmonizing the reality of the classroom with the needs of their pupils. LEGO Education solutions enable teachers to turn teaching into hands-on experiences.
Manage the whole class - or smaller groups

We provide step-by-step guides to principles of science and technology. Teachers can either work through each step with the whole class, or allow smaller groups of pupils to follow a scheme of work.
Each construction set and activity is designed for two to four students working together. The activities are divided into a series of tasks and each child can contribute to the process of designing, building and testing solutions. Activity packs include video material, illustrated guides and worksheets that can be photocopied. These allow pupils to work independently once they have been introduced to the task, and to record their results.

Differentiated learning

Many of the tasks are open-ended, so pupils can find a solution that matches their level of understanding and ability. Each task includes questions that help pupils to identify ways to improve their solutions before finalizing them, and offers extension ideas for those who are ready to move on.
